What is battlecard?

A battlecard is a concise internal document — usually one page — that equips a sales team to win against a specific competitor. It typically covers the rival’s strengths and weaknesses, pricing, how to counter their common claims, landmine questions to plant, and proof points for why you win.

Battlecards live or die on freshness: a card citing last year’s pricing destroys credibility with reps. Teams that keep continuous competitor monitoring feeding their battlecards get far more sales adoption than those that update them once a quarter.
