The dashboard and the activity feed

What the dashboard shows at a glance, and how the activity bell works.

The Dashboard is the first screen after signing in: where you stand, what moved this week, and what to do about it.

What’s on the dashboard

  • Standing cards and radar — your rank and score on every ranked angle, the same set Compare’s overview uses, so the two never disagree. These appear once your own product is tracked and you have at least one competitor.
  • What to do next — the latest weekly action plan, with the suggestions still waiting on you.
  • This week at a glance — how many changes were detected in the last 7 days and how many competitors moved, with a week-over-week comparison on the changes figure.
  • Competitors — every competitor you track, ordered by organic traffic value, so the biggest players in your field sit at the top.

If you haven’t added a competitor yet, the dashboard says so and points you at adding one.

The activity bell

The bell in the top bar holds the change feed: every detected change across every competitor you track, newest first. It loads the first time you open it, so it costs nothing on every other page.

An amber dot on the bell means there’s something worth attention — a change marked important or critical in the last 14 days. Routine changes still appear in the feed; they just don’t raise the dot.

Mark all as read clears the dot. It does not clear the feed — the panel is a history, and everything stays listed afterwards. The button only appears when there’s actually an unread alert to clear.

Marking as read is per workspace, not per person: clearing the dot clears it for your teammates too.

What you can see

Your workspace sees changes for the competitors it tracks, from the moment tracking started. Nothing from before you added a competitor, and nothing after you remove one — which is why re-adding a competitor starts their change history fresh.

Getting changes without opening the app

  • Slack alerts — pushed hourly, filtered to the angles you pick.
  • The weekly digest — Monday morning summary by email.
  • MCP — let an AI assistant read the same feed.
