How to set up Slack alerts
Get competitor changes posted to a Slack channel as they're detected.
Get competitor changes — pricing updates, new content, roadmap movement, SEO shifts, review activity — posted straight into a Slack channel of your choice.
Create the Slack webhook
- In Slack, go to Apps → Incoming Webhooks → Add to Slack.
- Pick the channel you want alerts in and click Add Incoming Webhooks integration.
- Copy the webhook URL — it starts with
https://hooks.slack.com/.
Connect it to Outmano
- In Outmano, go to Integrations → Slack.
- Paste the webhook URL into Incoming webhook URL.
- Under Send alerts for, tick the angles you want to receive — SEO, Pricing, Content, Features, Roadmap, Reviews, Hiring, News, Paid search.
- Tick Send alerts to this channel and click Save.
- Click Send test message to confirm the connection.
Outmano checks for new changes every hour and posts anything detected since the last delivery, filtered to your selected angles. Routine operational noise (like a temporarily unreachable competitor site) is never sent.
Other channels
Slack is the live channel today. Microsoft Teams and Google Chat are registered but not connectable yet — they show on the Integrations page as coming soon. In the meantime, the weekly digest covers email.
