Plans and billing
What each plan includes, how the trial works, and how to upgrade, change your card or cancel.
Outmano is self-serve and billed monthly through Stripe. Plans differ only in how many competitors you can track and how many teammates you can invite — every plan gets the same features.
What’s in each plan
| Starter | Growth | Pro | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Competitors tracked | 5 | 10 | 25 |
| Team members | 2 | 5 | 10 |
| Priority support | — | — | Yes |
Your own product doesn’t count against the competitor limit.
Every plan includes automated change detection across all angles, full change history, the weekly AI action plans, sales battlecards with share links, the MCP server, the weekly email digest, Slack alerts, AI-written strategic summaries, cross-competitor benchmarking, and every angle added in future.
How the trial works
The 14-day free trial runs on Starter only. Your card is collected at checkout and you aren’t charged until the trial ends, so you can cancel before day 15 and pay nothing.
Growth and Pro have no trial — they’re billed from day one, with a 14-day money-back guarantee as the safety net. If you’d rather evaluate first, start the Starter trial and upgrade whenever you’re ready.
The Billing page shows your current plan, whether you’re trialing, and when the trial ends.
Upgrade, change your card, or cancel
Everything after checkout happens in the Stripe customer portal. Go to Billing and click Manage billing — you’ll land in Stripe, where you can:
- switch plan,
- update your card or billing address,
- download invoices,
- cancel the subscription.
Plan changes sync back to Outmano automatically, so a new competitor or seat limit takes effect as soon as Stripe confirms it.
Cancelling doesn’t cut you off mid-cycle: the subscription stays usable until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and the Billing page shows a Canceling badge in the meantime.
Hitting a limit
- Competitors — the sidebar shows how many of your allowance you’ve used, turning amber as you approach the limit and red at it. At the limit, adding a competitor points you to Billing.
- Seats — active members and pending invitations both count. At the limit the invite form is replaced with an upgrade link. See How to invite your team.
Freeing a slot is immediate: remove a competitor or cancel a pending invitation and you can add another straight away.
If your subscription lapses
Product surfaces are gated behind an active subscription, so an expired or unpaid subscription sends you to Billing. Billing, Settings and Team stay reachable — seeing who’s in your workspace and fixing a card is account administration, not a feature you can be locked out of.
Discounts
Early-adopter accounts carry a launch discount that’s applied automatically at checkout and stays with the subscription — including through later plan changes in the Stripe portal. There’s nothing to enter.
